Navodaya College of Nursing Conducts Training Programme on AYUSH-Based Holistic Nursing Care
Navodaya College of Nursing, Raichur, successfully organized a one-day training programme on “AYUSH-Based Holistic Nursing Care: An Indian Knowledge System Perspective” on 23 April 2026.
The programme commenced with a prayer song and a welcome address by Prof. Tabitha Raveesh. The scientific session was delivered by Mr. Hanumanth V., Nursing Officer, Government Ayurvedic Hospital, Raichur, who provided valuable insights into Ayurveda, Yoga, and holistic nursing care, complemented by practical demonstrations for hands-on learning.
Prof. D. Hetzy Suthanakumari, Principal, emphasized the significance of integrating traditional Indian knowledge systems with modern nursing practice to enhance holistic patient care.
The programme concluded with an interactive feedback session and was well appreciated by the participants for enriching their understanding of AYUSH-based healthcare and its application in nursing practice.
