BSC NURSING PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOS)

The overall objectives of the Learning Outcomes-based Curriculum Framework (LOCF) for Basic Nursing program are as follows

PEO 1: Apply knowledge of basic and behavioural sciences to provide evidence-based, comprehensive nursing care to individuals, families, and communities.

PEO 2: Practice within the framework of ethical codes and legal boundaries, and participate effectively as a member of the healthcare delivery system.

PEO 3: Demonstrate leadership, communication, teaching, and managerial skills across various healthcare settings.

PEO 4: Engage in continuous professional and personal development to enhance nursing competence.

PEO1: Demonstrate competency in evidence-based nursing practice based on knowledge of behavioral and basic sciences.

PEO2: Demonstrate effective communication, leadership qualities, decision-making abilities, and managerial skills in providing care across various healthcare settings.

PEO3: Practice promotive, preventive, curative, and restorative healthcare services while adhering to ethical values.

PEO4: Engage in continuous professional and personal development to maintain lifelong learning.


MSc NURSING PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOS)

MSc NURSING PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOS)

PEO 1: Apply standards, protocols, procedures, and evidence-based practice (EBP) guidelines in nursing, assuming responsibility and accountability to provide advanced, competent, and comprehensive care to individuals, families, and the community.

PEO 2: Practice as a nurse specialist, maintaining interprofessional relationships with healthcare team members to bring about improvements in nursing practice and healthcare delivery.

PEO 3: Demonstrate leadership, management, collaborative communication, teaching, and research skills in providing competent care across various healthcare settings.

PEO 4: Engage in continuous personal and professional development to support lifelong learning.

NPCC PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOS)

PEO 1: Provide advanced, evidence‑based, ethical nursing care — using standards, protocols, and best practices — to critically ill patients, individuals, families, and communities, with accountability and professional competence.

PEO 2: Function effectively as a specialist nurse within interprofessional health‑care teams; collaborate, communicate, and coordinate care across diverse health‑care settings to improve care delivery and patient outcomes.

PEO 3: Demonstrate leadership, management, teaching, and research capability to contribute to improved health‑care services, critical care practice, and advancement of the nursing profession.

PEO 4: Apply critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and lifelong learning to keep pace with evolving health‑care knowledge, technologies, and patient‑care requirements.

PEO 5: Uphold and promote ethical, legal, and professional standards in all responsibilities — ensuring patient safety, dignity, social responsibility, and quality of care.
