CPR AWARENESS PROGRAMME 2023

Navodaya school and college of Nursing organized a CPR awareness programme at Lecture Gallery, NMC on 06.12.2023 as an initiative from National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) along with Indian Nursing Council. Prof. Hetzy Suthanakumari, Principal, Navodaya School and college of Nursing provided guidance, ensuring the successful execution of the event. Dr. Mohan Arya Associate Professor, Department of Anaesthesiology, Navodaya Medical College hospital and research centre, Raichur led an engaging Q&A session, enhancing participants understanding of CPR techniques. Presence of esteemed guests, including Dr. B Devananda, Dean, NMC and Dr. Arun Nayak, Medical Superintendent, NMCH&RC added prestige to the event. Active participation from 200 nursing students and faculty underscored the institution’s commitment to promoting emergency lifesaving preparedness. The CPR awareness program, initiated by NBEMS and Indian Nursing Council, aimed to equip nursing students and faculty with life-saving skills.  Prof. Immanuel and Mrs. Tabitha, Associate professor coordinated the event seamlessly managing the logistics and coordination with Skill Lab and IT cell, Navodaya Education Trust, Raichur.
