School Health Programme on Hand Hygiene

The programme was organized by the Department of Community Health Nursing, Navodaya College of Nursing, Raichur, organized an awareness programme on Hand hygiene at Government Higher Primary School, Maliyabad, on 6th November 2026.

The programme aimed to create awareness among higher primary school children about the importance of proper hand hygiene practices. Nursing students educated children on proper handwashing techniques and maintaining a clean environment. Demonstrations were conducted to help children understand the importance of hygiene in preventing diseases.

The programme was coordinated by Ms. Mekala Nagaveni, Lecturer, and Mr. Robinson, Nursing Tutor.
