Navodaya College of Nursing, Raichur Conducts Anti-Ragging Awareness Programme
11.08.2026 – 15.08.2026 | ANTI-RAGGING AWARENESS PROGRAMME
From 11 August 2026 to 15 August 2026, Navodaya College of Nursing, Raichur, conducted an Anti-Ragging Awareness Programme for B.Sc. Nursing and GNM students at the Multipurpose Hall. The programme was organised by the Anti-Ragging Committee and coordinated by Prof. Immanuel Prabhucharan, Anti-Ragging Coordinator.
The programme included awareness sessions for students across all B.Sc. Nursing semesters and GNM batches. The sessions focused on the harmful effects and consequences of ragging, anti-ragging regulations, reporting mechanisms, students’ rights and responsibilities, and institutional support systems.
Students were sensitised regarding the harmful effects of ragging, anti-ragging rules, responsibilities and preventive measures. The programme highlighted the importance of dignity, equality, mutual respect, student welfare, discipline and professional ethics.
The initiative reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to providing a safe, inclusive, respectful, and ragging-free campus environment. It also encouraged students to uphold mutual respect and contribute towards a positive and supportive learning environment.
Together, let’s foster a culture where every student feels safe, respected, supported, and valued.
