Report on World Health Day April- 2017
On the occasion of the world health day, Navodaya School and college of Nursing celebrated the world health day on 08th April 2017, Theme- “DEPRESSION-LET’S TALK”. The Event was guided by the Principal, Prof. Sujatha Lakshmi, Principal and organized by Mrs. Tabitha Raveesh, Lecturer, Department of Psychiatry Nursing, Navodaya college of Nursing. The event was coordinated by Mr. Sharana Basava, Asst.Professor, Pediatric Nursing and Mrs.Samatha.N.D Dept of OBG.
Firstly, the programme began at 8:45 A.M with the performance of Skit and a Mime on Depression by the Nursing Students at the Navodaya Hospital Lobby. Secondly, a seminar was given by Dr.Pawan.S Dept. of Psychiatry, Navodaya Medical Hospital and Research Centre.
Lastly, there was a Poster Presentation by the Nursing Students. The posters were judged by a panel of Judges. The programme came by to a final point at 1:00 P.M by snacks for Guest speaker, teaching and non teaching staff members and all the students.
