THE LAMP LIGHTING CEREMONY, 2024.
Navodaya College of Nursing organized the Lamp Lighting Ceremony for the 32nd Batch of GNM students and 31st batch of B.Sc. Nursing on 22nd February 2024, at the Auditorium, Navodaya Medical College, Raichur. The ceremony, held in this prestigious venue, commenced with the lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge and wisdom in the nursing profession. Professor Paramesha A. E, Professor from Government College of Nursing, Mysuru, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Dr. Devanand, Principal of Navodaya Medical College, Raichur, Prof. Suresh Babu, Director of Administration, NET, Raichur, Dr. Vijaykumar, Director of IPSA, NET, and Dr.Arun K.N Medical Superintendent, NMCH&RC, Raichur were the esteemed Guests of Honour. The ceremony included passing the light to the students and the recitation of the Florence Nightingale Pledge, reaffirming the students’ commitment to excellence in nursing practice. It was a solemn and inspiring event, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the nursing students’ journey towards professionalism and compassion in healthcare. The Lamp Lighting Ceremony, presided over by Prof. Hetzy Suthanakumari, Principal of Navodaya School and College of Nursing, Raichur.
