Navodaya School & College of Nursing, Raichur organized a State Level Nursing Workshop on the topic Current Trends in Nursing Practice & Education. For this program from Karnataka various colleges & Hospital staff attended the function. The programme was inaugurated by Registrar, T. Srinivas, NET, Raichur in his inaugural speech he stressed on Current Trends & Innovations Practices in Nursing Hospitals, he emphasized on new modalities of treatment & care should be given to the patients by the nurses. Teachers should adopt new methods of teaching to the students according to the trends. It was one day programme Dr. Lalitha K. Director of Nursing Branch of Mahatma Gandhi Hospital & Research Center, Pondicherry, Dr. Vasundhara, Principal, NRI Nursing college, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, Dr. Malarvidhi, Principal, Hosmat College of Nursing, Bangalore, were Resource persons. On this programme two sessions were conducted in morning session Dr. Lalitha lectured on Current Trends in Psychiatry Nursing & Education. And Dr. Vasundhara spoke on Current Trends in OBG Nursing & Education, Dr. Malarvidhi told about Medical Surgical Nursing & Education.In afternoon session Dr. Pranam, Associate Professor Conducted training on Acute Cardiac Life Support System. The function completed with valedictory & issuing the certificates the participants & delegates.
