Nursing Students Active Participation in the ‘Maatrutva Suraksha Abhiyaan’Campaign in Raichur.

On January 22, 2025, the ‘Maatrutva Suraksha Abhiyaan’ campaign was officially

launched by Hon'ble Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao at a large-scale health camp

for pregnant women in Raichur, This initiative focuses on enhancing maternal safety

and well-being through free health check-up camps for pregnant women, held twice

a month on the 9th and 24th at State-run health facilities.

As part of the initiative, 40 final-year internship nursing students from Navodaya

College of Nursing, Raichur, participated under the banner of NMCH, RC- Navodaya

Medical College Hospital & Research Centre  in coordination with the District Health

Office, Raichur. These students actively engaged in various camp activities,

contributing to the health assessments and raising awareness about maternal

health.
