National Youth Day Celebrated

Navodaya College of Nursing, Raichur, celebrated National Youth Day on 14 January 2026 with great enthusiasm under the theme “Ignite the Self, Impact the World.” The programme aimed to inspire young minds to recognize their potential and contribute meaningfully to nation-building.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Prof. Tabitha, Department of Mental Health Nursing. The event was presided over by Prof. Hetzy Suthanakumari, Principal, Navodaya College of Nursing, who emphasized the role of discipline, values, and dedication in shaping responsible youth.
The resource person, Dr. Ratan, Professor, Navodaya College of Education, Raichur, addressed the gathering and highlighted the vital role of youth in building a strong and progressive nation. He motivated students to cultivate self-belief, leadership qualities, and social responsibility to create a positive impact on society.
Students actively participated in cultural activities, showcasing their talents and reflecting the spirit of youthfulness and creativity. The vibrant performances added enthusiasm and energy to the celebration.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Mrs. Kavita Patil, Assistant Professor, Department of Mental Health Nursing. The celebration of National Youth Day left a lasting impression on the students, reinforcing the importance of self-awareness, service, and commitment toward national development.
