Navodaya College of Nursing organized the Course Inauguration Programme for the 32nd Batch of B.Sc Nursing students on 14th November 2024at the SR Hegde Silver Jubilee Auditorium. This event marked the beginning of an exciting academic journey for the students, introducing them to the vital and rewarding field of nursing.

The programme was formally welcomed by Prof. Rakhi Sarkar, who greeted the gathering. A distinguished group of dignitaries attended the ceremony, offering their support and motivation to the new batch. Dr. T. Srinivas, Registrar of NET, Raichur, and Dr. P. Vijaykumar, Director of IPSA, NET, Raichur, were the Guests of Honour for the occasion. The presence of Prof. Anand, Vice Principal of Navodaya Medical College, Dr. Kowshik, Principal of Navodaya College of Physiotherapy, Dr. Girish Katti from Navodaya Dental College, and Dr. Doddaiah, Principal of NET Pharmacy College, further added to the significance of the event, offering encouragement to the students.

Prof. Immanuel introduced the B.Sc Nursing course, providing an overview of its structure, objectives, and expectations for the students. The programme was presided over by Prof. Hetzy Suthanakumari, who, in her presidential remarks, spoke about the importance, value, and demands of nursing education. She also encouraged parents to actively support their children’s education by fulfilling their parental responsibilities and ensuring a focused, uninterrupted environment for their studies.

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Ms. Lavanya, Lecturer at Navodaya College of Nursing. As the ceremony wrapped up, the guests shared inspiring words, urging the students to embrace values such as excellence, compassion, and empathy in their studies and future careers. The event concluded with the National Anthem, marking a solemn and respectful end to the ceremony.
