WORLD BLOOD DONOR DAY, 2108
Navodaya College and School of Nursing celebrated the blood donor day. The theme was “Be there for someone else. Give blood and share life’’ 2018 organized by DC and DHO office, Raichur.
Under the guidance of Ms. Sujatha Lakshmi, Principal Navodaya College and School of Nursing and Department of Community Health Nursing, Mrs. Rakhi Sarkar, HOD dept. of community nursing, Mr. Manjunath S.B, Ms. Lavanya and Ms. Bhavana participated in the rally on 14th June, 2018 at 8:30 am from DC office to DHO office.
The faculty and nursing students started from college and converged at D.C office in the morning. The rally started with small brief introduction of theme and people involved. Students and faculty marched with the banners and slogans up to DHO office. The awareness of blood donation was also done by distributions of pamphlets.
By reaching the DHO office, a brief introduction of guests and honoring the blood donors was done and the program was concluded by snacks and tea.
