Ophthalmology Rally – Eye Donation Fortnight | 8th September 2025 | Navodaya College of Nursing, Raichur

On 8th September 2025, the GNM II Year students of Navodaya College of Nursing actively participated in an Ophthalmology Rally organized by the Eye Department, Navodaya Medical College Hospital & Research Centre (NMCH & RC).

The rally, conducted as part of the Eye Donation Fortnight, commenced from the Central Library, NET Campus, and concluded at the Railway Station, Raichur. The event aimed to raise public awareness about the importance of eye donation and to encourage community participation in promoting eye health.

The program was successfully coordinated by Nursing Tutors Kiran and Ambika, who guided and motivated the students throughout the event.

This initiative provided students with a valuable community engagement experience, fostering a sense of social responsibility and public health advocacy.
