On World Suicide Prevention Day, Navodaya College of Nursing, Raichur, organized an oath-taking to highlight the role of nurses in suicide prevention.

Principal Prof. Hetzy Suthanakumari addressed the gathering, advising nursing students to prevent suicide among self and in the community, find solutions to problems, and face life’s ups and downs with resilience.

Faculties and GNM I & II Year students actively participated in the observance.

The theme for this year was “Changing the Narrative: Suicide Prevention for All.”

The program emphasized the public importance of suicide prevention and encouraged students to take an active role in supporting mental health.

The event was successfully organized by Prof. Tabitha, Mental Health Nursing Department.
