Course Inauguration Programme B.Sc Nursing at Navodaya College of Nursing
On 21st November 2025, Navodaya College of Nursing organized the Course Inauguration Programme B.Sc Nursing for the 33rd batch of B.Sc Nursing students at the Dr. S. R. Hegde Silver Jubilee Auditorium. The programme marked the beginning of a new academic journey for the incoming nursing students.
The event commenced with an invocation, followed by a warm welcome address delivered by Ms. K. L. Lavanya, Assistant Professor, who extended her best wishes to the new batch and emphasized the values of dedication and compassion in nursing education.
The ceremonial lamp lighting and pooja were performed by the distinguished guest, Prof. Suresh Babu, Director (Administration), symbolizing knowledge, wisdom, and enlightenment.
The Chief Guest, Dr. T. Srinivas, addressed the gathering and delivered an inspiring message highlighting the vital role of nurses in healthcare delivery, patient care, and community service. He encouraged students to uphold ethical values and professionalism throughout their academic and professional careers.
The Guest of Honour, Dr. P. Vijay Kumar, spoke briefly about the global opportunities available in the nursing profession and motivated students to aim for excellence, lifelong learning, and international exposure.
The programme was presided over by the Principal, Prof. D. Hetzy S.K., who emphasized the importance of quality education, discipline, and institutional support in shaping competent and compassionate nursing professionals.
The Course Inauguration Programme B.Sc Nursing concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, faculty members, and students, followed by the National Anthem.
