BSc Nursing Program Outcome

PO 1: Apply knowledge and critical thinking skills in evidence-based nursing practice.

PO 2: Provide comprehensive, person-centred nursing care to individuals, families, and communities in various healthcare settings.

PO 3: Communicate effectively and collaborate with clients, families, communities, and healthcare professionals.

PO 4: Demonstrate leadership abilities and teaching skills in nursing education and practice.

PO 5: Engage in continuous professional and personal development to support lifelong learning.

PO 6: Apply ethical principles consistently in all areas of nursing practice.

PO 7: Contribute to societal healthcare needs through programmes focused on sustainability and social responsibility.

POST BASIC NURSING

POST BASIC NURSING

After successful completion of Post Basic BSc Nursing Program, graduates will be able to:

 PO 1 – Knowledge and Critical Thinking: Apply knowledge and critical thinking skills in evidence-based nursing practice.

PO 2 – Person-Centred Care, Individuals and Families: Practice comprehensive nursing care for individuals and families in various healthcare settings.

PO 3 – Communication and Teamwork: Communicate effectively and work in teams with clients, families, communities, and healthcare professionals.

PO 4 – Leadership and Teaching: Demonstrate leadership and teaching skills in nursing education and practice.

PO 5 – Professional Competence & Lifelong Learning: Engage in continuous professional and personal development.

MSc NURSING

MSc NURSING

After successful completion of MSc Nursing Program, graduates will be able to:

PO1 – Advanced Knowledge, Critical Thinking & Clinical Reasoning:
Apply advanced knowledge, critical thinking, and clinical reasoning skills in healthcare decision-making in all situations.

PO2 – Interpersonal Relationship and Teamwork:
Demonstrate effective interpersonal relationships with individuals, families, communities, and healthcare professionals.

PO3 – Professional Competence & Lifelong Learning:
Demonstrate professional competence and actively engage in continued learning.

PO4 – Leadership, Teaching and Research Skills:
Demonstrate leadership, management, teaching, and research skills in various healthcare settings.

PO5 – Ethical Practice:
Practice within the ethical and legal frameworks of nursing and healthcare.

PO6 – Social Responsibility with Focus on Sustainability:
Provide nursing care related to promotive, preventive, restorative, and rehabilitative health services.


Nurse Practitioner in Critical Care (NPCC)

Nurse Practitioner in Critical Care (NPCC)

After successful completion of NPCC Program, graduates will be able to:

PO1 – Advanced Knowledge & Critical Thinking:
Adapt responsibility and accountability to provide competent care to critically ill patients and appropriate family care in tertiary care centres.

PO2 – Professional Competence & Lifelong Learning:
Display clinical competence/expertise in providing critical care, including diagnostic reasoning, complex monitoring, and therapies, contributing to the advancement of self and the profession.

PO3 – Evidence-Based Clinical Reasoning:
Apply theoretical, pathophysiological, and pharmacological principles, along with evidence-based practice, in implementing therapies and interventions in critical care.

PO4 – Ethical Practice:
Assess critical conditions using differential diagnoses and carry out treatment/interventions to stabilize and restore patient health, minimizing or managing complications independently or collaboratively as part of a critical care team, following ethical principles.

PO5 – Collaborative Care, Interpersonal Relationships & Teamwork:
Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals in the critical care team across the continuum of critical care.

PO6 – Leadership, Management & Communication Skills:
Apply critical thinking and communication skills in providing care and managing critically ill patients, assuming leadership and management responsibilities for the delivery of advanced practice nursing services.
