The Department of Child Health Nursing is concerned with the health of Infants, Children and Adolescents; their growth and development and the attainment of full potential as an Adult. It aims to impart quality education in the field of child care at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and to contribute to quality care for all children. The college is attached to 1030 bedded hospital in which we have Four 30 bedded Pediatric wards a PICU and a NICU. Through the Child Health Nursing course, it intends to prepare the students in the acquisition of advanced and in-depth knowledge and  efficient child care skills and the right attitude in the day-to-day clinical practice of caring of the sick children. The department prepares the students to plan and initiate innovative changes in the care of sick children.
